El día 25 de octubre del 2022, dos días antes del gran evento de los sesenta años de la compañía en el Country Club de Bogotá, falleció en Migliarino, Italia el Duque FORESE SALVIATI, el fundador de SB Talee, a sus 95 años de edad. En el discurso de apertura del evento Celiar Noreña, el gerente de la compañía, le hizo un sentido homenaje: “Quiero agradecer la presencia de todos ustedes esta noche y dar la bienvenida a nuestra celebración de los 60 años de SB TALEE en Colombia. Al tiempo quiero compartirles con profundo sentimiento, que DON FORESE SALVIATI, nuestro Fundador, falleció en Italia, dos dias atrás, celebraremos entonces esta noche su vida, y honraremos la Memoria de un ser extraordinario, de nobles cualidades y valores enamorado de las flores y un apasionado de nuestro país y su gente, que hoy estará muy orgulloso de saber que los esquejes de SB Talee y sus variedades, están presentes en la mayoría de los países del mundo. El amor de Don Forese por Colombia lo llevó a conocer con su hermano Leonardo Salviati nuestro país; se interesó por recorrerlo como quizás pocos de nosotros lo hemos hecho…. Tengo grabado el recuerdo de su sonrisa cuando llegaba a Colombia y también su dejo de tristeza cuando partía. Me impresionaba su entusiasmo al llegar, cuando a pesar de un largo viaje y en horas de la tarde, el quería ir a ver las variedades, más que disponerse a descansar; siempre se hacía evidente también, su entusiasmo y su especial afecto por la finca de Propagación. Nuestro vinculo de amistad, de respaldo, de confianza y de generosa gratitud, se hizo evidente en muchos momentos compartidos; recuerdo que en 1989 cuando la empresa me envió a construir SB TURQUÍA y regresé a Italia para hacer el informe del viaje, me acerqué para agradecerle la oportunidad y su respuesta no se dejó esperar “él que no tiene palabras para agradecer soy yo “, siempre dispuesto a reconocer y valorar el trabajo en torno a su visión del negocio y pasión por las flores. Mi espíritu hoy se embarga de profunda emoción y sentimiento, el lazo construido con Don FORESE, ha trascendido desde tiempo atrás. Hace 47 años perdí a mi padre, y luego la vida con él, me permitió crear un vínculo de especial empatía y afecto… me regaló un segundo padre, más que eso, me regaló un gran amigo. Quiero celebrar su vida y agradecerle su amor por Sandra y por mis hijos; su afecto será guardado amorosamente en nuestros corazones. Quiero agradecer a Doña Grazia, por su complicidad y respaldo a Don Forese en sus viajes por el mundo, también por todos sus cuidados especiales para él en estos tres últimos años, y no puedo dejar de agradecer a su hija Dianora, quien tenía dispuesto el viaje a Colombia para acompañarnos esta noche. En la distancia acompañamos a la Familia Salviati, rindiendo un homenaje a la vida de Don FORESE”

On October 25, 2022, two days before the company’s 60th anniversary conmemoration at Bogotá Country Club, Duke FORESE SALVIATI, the founder of SB Talee, passed away in Migliarino, Italy, at the age of 95. In the opening speech of the evening, Mr. Celiar Noreña, the company’s manager, paid a heartfelt tribute to him: “I would like to thank you all for your presence tonight and to welcome you to our commemoration of the 60 th anniversary of SB Talee. At the same time I wish to share with you with deep feeling, that DON FORESE SALVIATI, our Founder, passed away in Italy, two days ago, so tonight we will celebrate his life, and honor the memory of an extraordinary human being, of noble qualities and values, always showing his love for flowers and his passion about our country and its people, who today would have been very proud to know that SB Talee’s varieties are present in most countries of the world. Don Forese’s love for Colombia led him to know with his brother Leonardo Salviati our country; he was interested in touring it as perhaps few of us have done….. I have engraved the memory of his smile when he arrived in Colombia and also his sadness when he left. I was impressed by his enthusiasm when he arrived here, when in spite of a long trip and in the late afternoon, he preferred to go immediately to see the varieties, instead of taking a rest and wait until next day; his enthusiasm and his special affection for the Propagation farm was always evident. Our bond of friendship, support, trust and generous gratitude was evident in many shared moments; I remember that in 1989 when the company sent me to st up SB TURKEY and I returned to Italy to report on the trip, I approached him to thank him for the opportunity and his response was immediate “he who has no words to thank is me”, always ready to recognize and appreciate the work around his vision of the business and passion for flowers. My spirit today is filled with deep emotion and feeling, the bond built with Don FORESE, has transcended from long ago. Forty-seven years ago I lost my father, and then life allowed me to create a bond of special empathy and affection with him… he gave me a second father, but more than that, he gave me a great friend. I want to celebrate his life and thank him for his love for Sandra and my children; his affection will be lovingly kept in our hearts. I want to thank Donna Grazia, for her complicity and support to Don Forese in his travels around the world, also for all her special care for him in these last years, and I can not fail to thank his daughter Dianora, who had arranged the trip to Colombia to be with us tonight. In the distance we accompany the Salviati Family, paying a tribute to the life of Don FORESE”.
